COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES OF A HACKER

 01000001

In the "The Conscious of a Hacker" we see some writing strategies of things such as repetition. Such as in " Or feels threatened by me...Or thinks I'm a smart ass...Or doesn't like teaching and shouldn't be here..."in lines 18-20. This emphasizes words in the text as it's generally trying to focus more attention onto this part of the paragraph. It also does this with the text "Dam kid...They're all alike." The tone of this is of justification. Presumably. "The Mentor" writes about his beginnings with hacking, speaking of his encounters with others through message boards, he tells of his sense of belonging. This manifesto is him justifying his work, that of which he holds dear to him. Hacking is his work and this is his manifesto.
