The Method of Methods
The Socratic Method is a very useful method, one that thrives on being negative to achieve naught but the truth. The Socratic method is meant to keep on pushing. Not letting one take it easy. Designed to go against the established. The Socratic method isn't to be competitive or be used to stir conflict, but to end at the truth. Yet I'd argue it makes the topic much more interesting. The Socratic method is used to push thinking to its boundaries, until it can't be pushed no more, therefore we keep pushing, til that of which is immovable is movable, to that of which can't stop is abruptly stops, etc. As Socrates said, "The life without criticism is meaningless." etc.
